Packing: 25-50 Kg
Sodium sulfide is the chemical compound with the formula Na2S and it has an antfluorite structure. It's a yellow appearance, water-soluble salts that give strongly alkaline solutions.
Sodium sulfide flakes is a yellow solid provided as hydrate with a 40% crystal water content. It can be used as process aid for dehairing (tanneries), as auxiliary in cellulose production, for coloration of textiles and as flocculent for wastewater treatment (metal precipitant).
What is sodium Sulphide used for?
Sodium sulfide is used in the pulp and paper industry, water treatment, textile industry, and various chemical manufacturing processes including the production of rubber chemicals, sulfur dyes and oil recovery. Along with its hydrate form, sodium sulfide releases hydrogen sulfide (H2S) when in contact with moist air.
What is the use of sodium Sulphide in textile?
In the textile industry, sodium sulfide is used as a bleaching agent, dechlorinating agent and also desulphurising agent. In the production of rubber chemicals, sulfur dyes and other chemical compounds are used. Used in various applications like ore flotation, dye-making, oil recovery and detergent.
Sodium sulfide is the chemical compound with the formula Na2S, or more commonly its hydrate Na2S-9H2O. Both are colorless water-soluble salts that give strongly alkaline solutions.
Sodium Sulphide Yellow Flakes, Chemical Formula: Na2s.
Sodium Sulphide yellow flakes are extensively used in oil recovery, ore flotation, food preservatives, dyes, and detergents, etc.
